Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Biberon Baby Tracker ("Biberon", "we", "us") handles data in the iOS, Android, and web app. Biberon is operated by Yuki Capital / Romain Simon.
This document is a practical privacy policy for store review and user transparency. It is not legal advice.
1. What Biberon Does
Biberon helps parents and caregivers track baby care: milk feeds, breastfeeding method, diapers, weigh-ins, temperatures, notes, baby profile information, and a shared family log.
2. Data Stored On Your Device
Biberon is local-first. The app stores data on your device so it works offline and stays fast at night. This local data may include:
- baby name, birth date, birth weight, sex, units, and milk target settings;
- caregiver first name;
- milk, diaper, weight, and temperature entries, including timestamps, quantities, type, notes, and deletion markers;
- language preference, onboarding state, and sync state.
3. Optional Family Sync
If you enable sync with a family code, Biberon sends the shared baby profile and tracking entries to the Biberon API so linked caregivers can see the same history. Family sync may process caregiver names, a family code, baby profile details, milk entries, diaper entries, weight measurements, temperature measurements, notes, timestamps, and deletion markers.
Family sync exists only to provide the shared log. We do not sell this data and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Accounts And Authentication
Biberon can be used without a traditional account by creating or joining a family code. If Google sign-in is enabled in a build, we may process your Google account name, email, and profile picture solely to authenticate you and link you to a family.
5. Camera, QR Codes, And Clipboard
Camera access is used only when you choose to scan a family-code QR code. Biberon does not store or upload camera frames. Clipboard access is used only when you choose to copy the family code.
6. Analytics And Diagnostics
Production builds may send privacy-light analytics events through Plausible and the Biberon API to understand app reliability and feature usage. Events may include app opens, screen views, successful logging actions, store review prompt status, platform, app version, language, and whether sync is enabled. Analytics events do not include baby names, family codes, notes, milk quantities, weights, temperatures, diaper details, or photos.
7. Service Providers
We use service providers only to operate the app:
- MongoDB / hosted database infrastructure for optional sync data;
- Coolify / Hetzner or similar hosting for the API and website;
- Plausible for privacy-friendly analytics;
- Google only if Google sign-in is enabled and chosen by the user.
8. Data Retention And Deletion
Local data stays on your device until you delete it, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Synced data is kept while the shared family exists so caregivers can keep their baby-care history.
To request deletion of synced data, email [email protected] with the family code or the email linked to your account. We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days unless a longer retention period is required by law.
9. Security
Data sent to the Biberon API is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to backend data is limited to operating, debugging, and protecting the service.
10. Children
Biberon is intended for use by adult parents and caregivers. Any baby-related data is provided by an adult caregiver for care tracking. The app is not directed to children.
11. Your Rights
Depending on your location, including under GDPR, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete personal data. Contact us at [email protected] to exercise these rights.
12. Contact

5. Contact
